IOCC August Question?
AUGUST QUESTION
"Whenever I find myself under acute tensions, I lengthen my daily walks and slowly repeat our Serenity Prayer in rhythm to my steps and breathing."
Grapevine, March 1962As Bill Sees It page 250
How does your prayer and meditation change while under acute tensions?
A lot of times it slacks off until I realize I have not taken the time to just be.
Then I remember where my answers lie in wait (With God)
Sometimes it just seems to be a walk through until I get to the other side
of the situation and then I see I was truly carried through but this is not
always the case as I am one to complain about it for a while and when the pain gets too great I see that I finally have to admit my powerlessness or change what I can and leave the results up to God.
